The 6th Eurasian Meeting on Heterocyclic Chemistry (6th EAMHC) will be held at Alicante (Spain) in June 30-July 4, 2010. This conference is the continuation of those previously held in Suzdal (Russia)-2000 (Chair: E. Babaev), Novgorod (Russia)-2002 (Chair: E. Babaev), Novosibirsk (Russia)-2004 (Chair: A. Tkachev), Thesaloniki (Greece)-2006 (Chair: A. Geronikaki), and Kuwait (Kuwait)-2008 (Chair: N. The aim of this meeting is to cover a wide range of topics of current interest in the field of heterocyclic chemistry. The program will include 18 lectures delivered by eminent chemists from 16 different European and Asian countries. In addition around 25 short oral presentations, as well as two poster sessions will complete the corresponding program.
Alicante is a mid-size city (around 300.000 inhabitants) that belongs to the Valencia region and is located on the Mediterranean coast, being very well connected by highway (415 Kms to Madrid, 550 Kms to Barcelona, 160 Kms to Valencia), train or plane with the most important cities not only in Spain, but also in Europe (Paris, London, Berlin, …).
