The Polytechnic School of the University of Alicante has celebrated the graduation ceremony of the academic year 2011/2012, in which the Director-General for Universities, José Miguel Saval, gave the keynote speech.
During the ceremony, diplomas were handed out to the students of the Official Master's Programmes in Building Management, Application Development and Web Services, Information Technology and Engineering of Materials, Water and Land Planning (80 students) and also to the students who have completed the Adaptation Courses of the Graduate Programme in Building Engineering and the that in Civil Engineering (276 students).
Finally, a distinction of "Honorary Member of the Higher Polytechnic School" will be given to lecturer Giacomo Moriconi, as unanimously approved by the College Board. Giacomo Moriconi is a lecturer in Materials Science and Technology at the Marche Polytechnic University's Faculty of Engineering. Since 2000, he has been the Director of the Department of Physics and Engineering of Materials and Land Planning. He is an author or coauthor of about 200 publications. Since 1999, he has been the Coordinator of the Doctoral Programme in Materials, Water and Land Planning Engineering Research.
