The French University of Limoges appoints honoris causa doctor UA Professor Marco Antonio López Cerdá

Professor Marco Antonio López Cerdá, from the University of Alicante's Department of Statistics and Operations Research, has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Limoges (France), in recognition of his professional and teaching career. The ceremony took place on 4th July, in the said French city at the closure of the 4th ALEL Scientific Meeting, an international conference on Optimization and Mathematical Analysis, organized jointly by the Universities of Limoges, Alicante and Miguel Hernandez of Elche. The ceremony was attended by the President of this University and the Academiy President and and Secretary of the University of Limoges. Professor Michel Théra, from the University of Limoges, has acted as the sponsor and has pronounced the laudatio of professor López Cerdá.
