Aims and Technical Data

Aims

Promote a Standard of Environmental Quality more demanding that, to his time, favour an increase of the quality of university life.
Develop a consultative process based in the participation, promoted by the Vicerrectorado of Infrastructures and Extension of the Campus for all the university community, that improve the cooperation between the different university organs.
Sensitise, form and inform to all the university community of the environmental repercussion of the activities developed in the UA.
Offer to the society a frame of reflection on the consequences of the activity of the UA, as well as facilitate a methodological frame that serve of reference to other institutions and administrations in the treatment, resolution and improvement of his problematic environmental.

In synthesis, with the Diary 21 Venue in the University of Alicante pretend achieve a SUSTAINABLE CAMPUS, that is to say: Ecological, Solidario, Participatory.

Technical Data

The project of Diary 21 of the UA contemplates the following appearances:

Time limit of execution: 12 months for his development.

Compilation and systematisation of all the necessary information (subjective and objective).
Analysis of the current situation and environmental diagnostic of university.
Definition and description of plans of specific Environmental Action for the UA in his Campus of Saint Vicente (including the buildings in the zone of Extension of the Campus), through the analysis of the conclusions obtained.
Definition and description of plans of follow-up and in his case of the tools of necessary management, including selection of indicators, etc.
Definition of plans of Participation and Information, with the collaboration of different commissions created to such end, and in his case of the tools of necessary management.
Final presentation of the Diary 21 with all and each ones of the separated previously commented.
