The University of Alicante has created, in agreement with the Institute Jane Goodall Spain, the Chair Jane Goodall, that has between his aims the analysis, the investigation, the training and the divulging in conservation of the environment, including to the local human societies and leading of the process. To contribute to these aims both institutions have decided to create the Prize Jane Goodall of Biology of the Conservation and Ethical Environmental, concepts that are intimately joined and in which illustrate it primatóloga is an international referent.
With this prize pretend recognise the work of people or institutions that have realised significant contributions to the conservation of the environment and the sustainable development in any part of the world, that to his time contribute the development of the ethical environmental in the society.
