Learning environment

Learning is living an adventure. Besides, learning any language is a way to learn more and more, that is, to live new adventures. You know we want to help you to learn. However, our aim isn't just helping you to acquire a good linguistical level, our aim is encoureging you to look the world like a Valencian speaker and know our country as well.

One of main steps that any language learner has to take to get his aim is the linguistic immersion. Languages are not abstract entities, neither collections of rules and words learned on the fringes of speakers community. Learning one language means learning to develop in that language. If learners don't use the language they are studying, they won't get a full learning, but they just will get the ability to pass an exam. Really, they will probably fail.

Linguistic immersion means being pervaded subconsciously by accent, words, expressions of language we want to learn. And we have to do it at the street, market, library, restaurant, mountain... And also here, at Internet. In this page, we want to offer a learning environment, that is, different kind of contents, created in Valencian language, that will help you to learn. Undoubtedly, this is the best way to learn.

The Trobades d'Escoles en Valencià are a magnificent example of linguistic immersion.

Taking part in hiking associations that we can find in many Valencian towns and villages (for instance, the Colla Muntanyenca del Campello, in the picture at right) is an excellent option to do linguistic immersion and enjoy our landscapes.
