Welcome to the Domotics and Ambient Intelligence group website belonging to the Industrial Computers and Computer Networks Singular Research Unit which is part of the University of Alicante’s Department of Computing Technology.
Our group is formed by researchers with extensive experience in research, both basic and applied in Information, Communications and Control Technologies (ICCT). The high qualification achieved during this whole period has led to the current interest of the group in system integration aimed at providing proactive services, consisting of modern concepts in Ambience Intelligence, where higher demand in advanced technologies is expected in the years ahead: housing and buildings.
Our research approach is, then, the confluence of the ICCT to provide knowledge and to develop solutions with a cross-curricular approach in the sector that we consider with higher future expansion, taking current, desirable features such as accessibility and sustainability into account.
The impact of our research in the formative aspect is specified in the Master's Degree in Digital Home and the PhD program Information Society Technologies which has obtained "Mention of Quality" from the Ministry of Science and Innovation with Ref. MCD2008-00015.
