Doctorate in Tourism

The program of Doctorate in Tourism pursues the following objective:

Form doctors and specialists interested in the analysis and in the processes of direction and management of the tourist development, so much in companies and in tourist organisations.
Impulsar The investigation related with the planning of the spaces of destination, from the perspective of the areas receptors of flows of tourism, with special interest in the knowledge of the subject in Mediterranean and Latin American countries.
Fomentar The innovation of methodologies and operative tools for the scientific analysis-social of the tourism, to the time that open lines of discussion and work on the paper of the tourism in the processes of cooperation to the development.

To access to the doctorate the student has to have obtained a minimum of 60 credits in official program of postgraduate or be in possession of the title of Máster Official in Direction and Planning of the Tourism, whenever between the group of the university studies of degree and postgraduate have surpassed a minimum of 300 credits.

The program is directed preferably to graduated in Tourism, Economy, Administration and Direction of Companies, Geography and Sociology, as well as to the titled in the Master Official in Direction and Planning of the Tourism and, in general, to students interested in purchasing knowledges in matter of direction and management of the tourism.
