The objective of these meetings is to publicize the research activities at the stations through a series of activities of science and learning of the resources of the natural environment in which they are located, as well as raise awareness of the need to conserve Mediterraneanbiodiversity. Scientific stations that will be the course are:
Management of natural areas plays a major role in the socio-economical and political agenda as society demands for a sustainable use of natural resources and efficient management of natural heritage grows. European Framework Directives on Natural Resources, Water, and Protection of Habitats and Natural Areas are good examples of this. The implementation of these Directives requires qualified professionals with a vast understanding on the functioning of natural systems, and a strong expertise of environmental issues.
Our M.Sc. on Management and Restoration of Natural Areas will provide suitable preparation on the natural heritage, correcting measures to attain the best ecosystem state, optimum management of natural resources, and available biotechnological tools to bring the best solutions to current and future environmental problems.
This M.Sc. will provide the means:
- To design, carry out and pilot restoration projects.
- To manage protected areas.
- To develop sound research on ecosystem conservation and restoration.
The M.Sc is imparted by well recognized experts with strong links to public and private sectors in Spain and worldwide.

The workshop is the simulation of the main activities carried out in the nursery of the Natural Park , whose purpose is to produce plant species for reforestation in areas of Mediterranean forest.
Taught Course "Description and assessment of ecosystems" in the UA ECFRN. This is a subject with a high practical content and applied, in which students acquire skills in the diagnosis of ecosystems. Various practical activities are carried out in the forest and other ecosystems in the Font Roja.
