Commissions
Article 36. Claims Commission
The claims Commission is the body responsible for assessing the claims submitted to the Rector or Chancellor against the proposals of the commissions in the competitions of access.
The claims Commission shall be composed of seven subjects or professors of University, all of them from different areas of knowledge, with extensive teaching and research experience, and at least with two evaluations of research positive. Those who integrate the Commission may not take part in the resolution of claims which affect their respective areas of knowledge.
The members of the claims Commission shall be elected by the University cloister. It will focus on the membership balanced between men and women. Its mandate will have a duration of four years.
Article 37. Support for the Governing Committees
The Governing Council may obtain for the exercise of its functions the advice or prior report of commissions, which may be permanent and non-permanent.
Necessarily be become permanent commissions in the following areas: academic organization, faculty, studies, research and economic planning.
Its composition, that will be balanced between women and men, shall be established according to their nature and functions.
The composition, powers and functioning of these committees shall be governed by a regulation approved by the Government Council. All the committees which address labour issues must have representatives of the social part of the negotiating table.
Article 38. Other commissions
The other governing bodies of the University of Alicante will establish study commissions, advice and participation of those who make use of the various University services. The agreement of its Constitution shall provide, where appropriate, approval by the Governing Council of a regulation to regulate them, you line the purpose of the same, the rules of operation and its composition, that will be balanced between men and women.
