We are a team of researchers and lecturers convinced of the need to bring to the forefront the accomplishments of translators and cultural mediators alike. For much too long they were concealed, often intentionally, reducing and even erasing any trace of their intervention in the translation process.
In order to do so we intend to shed some light on their works which, in spite of having proven to be highly effective thanks to a considerable cultural repercussion, have received only scarce acknowledgment.
Our research interest lies within the Spanish speaking world. Therefore we are just going to consider works translated either from or into Spanish.
