Challenges for the future in higher education: teaching and research to achieve academic excellence
Objectives and thematic nuclei
The days of networks of the University of Alicante have devoted their efforts to encourage and promote the improvement of the teaching and research activity, working in each of its editions, by transmission and generation of knowledge that contribute to the improvement of quality in teaching and research.
Today, the fast-paced changes that occur at all levels, is essential to the commitment of the University community with the quality of teaching for good results in the training of its professionals and achieve, through the activity of teaching and research, increase the quality in research, innovation and transmission of what has been learned.
For this purpose, the 11th Conference are aimed at providing a framework open to the transfer of results obtained and developed on scientific works innovation and improvement at the University level, as well as the exchange between professionals, in order to generate knowledge and enhance training to achieve academic excellence.
To that end, thematic nuclei of this edition are:
Monitoring of qualifications: measures to ensure quality and excellence.
Teaching innovation: strategy for effective practice.
Interaction in the teaching-learning process: methodologies that contribute to the formation and generation of knowledge in students.
Evaluation in the current framework of the new qualifications: application of systems and their contribution to the improvement of the results.
Training in current teaching: new approaches to the changing needs in our society.
