The Secretariat has participated in the following tasks for the Vice President for Academic and Teaching Staff:
- In implementation of the additional 1st, 2nd and 3 of the Organic Law 4/2007, amending the Rioja 6/2001 on Universities, has been the integration of teachers and CEUs available TEUs in the body of the holders of University Professors and Employees Doctors credited to the body of professors Drs.

- Under the Stability Program Faculty of the University of Alicante has been transformed into a stable figure of seats currently occupied by teachers hired LRU.
-- Integral Management Plan
Work has continued for the full development of the forecasts Integrated Management Plan (POI) (approved by the Governing Council of 15 February 2007). In particular, the criteria have been applied and modules to determine the net capacity of teachers teaching and the needs of staffing (see below , the " , Changes in the teaching staff). And they have carried out the actions necessary for the normal recognition of reductions in the teaching skills of teachers in the cases provided (sections of research, over sixty years, etc..) - Training Plan TEUs and collaborators (this course have been solved 58 new concessions ).
- sabbaticals (9 permits were issued representing 94 months in total. The budget has been allocated 18,000 €).
