During the first quarter of the course 2009-2010, the group of experts and expert designated by the Commission of Equality developed the distinct axes of the plan proposing concrete actions that were widely debated in the breast of the Commission of Equality. Fruit of this conjoint and intense work was the proposal of the “I Plan of Equality of Opportunities between Women and Men of the University of Alicante” adopted by unanimity in the Commission the 3 of December of 2009.
In the meeting of the Table Negociadora of the 21 of December of 2009, the proposal approved by the Commission of Equality obtains the seen well of the sindical representation of the UA.
The 26 of January of 2010 the “I Plan of Equality of Opportunities between Women and Men of the University of Alicante" is subjected to the approval of the Council of Government, that backs the proposal by a very wide majority.
The “First Plan of Equality of Opportunities between Women and Men of the UA” it was presented officially to the university community in a public act chaired by the Rector the 8 of March of 2010, in the frame of the memorial activities organised by the University.
