The office of the Vice President for Research, Development and Innovation, the office of the Vice President for Students, and the Student Council, presented on 7 February the I competition for innovative Ideas for students of the University of Alicante. This new initiative aims to encourage the creativity of the students.
The work may be submitted by students of the University of Alicante individually or in a group from February 7 until next March 2 at 12: 00. Students may vote from 5 to 8 March to an innovative idea among the 20 finalists selected. In addition all the participants in this vote will enter into the draw for an Iphone 4S.
The jury of the contest of innovative Ideas for students of the University of Alicante unveiled Friday March 9, the name of the winners of this first edition that have frequented almost 100 projects. María González Gil and David Crespo Caballero students have obtained first prize for his idea "El Cantonet" and Manuel Rico Santa Cruz has been awarded second prize for his work "Las ideas surgen cuando menos te lo esperas".
By the end of the event took place the draw of the Iphone 4S, courtesy of Telefónica, among the approximately 2,700 students participated in the vote to elect the best innovative Idea. The student Saudy Cecilia Arias Feliz was winning in the draw.
