ICT accessibility guides

The Student Support Centre (SSC) with the collaboration of the Vodafone Spain Foundation in particular and various services of the University of Alicante launched the Project: Inclusive educational platforms and accessible electronic documents, with the aim of adapting, training and promote Accessible Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the university community.

Since its inception, the Student Support Centre (SSC) has maintained its social commitment to the principles of equal opportunities and design for all. For 20 years, our University has been making a great effort to facilitate access to higher education to groups with greater risk of exclusion and, as it could not be otherwise, to people with specific learning needs that require our support and attention.

In the new technological scenario, digital educational platforms and new virtual spaces are the order of the day at our University, and just as we have been doing in other areas such as curricular adaptations, it has to come from us the effort to adapt to the demands and break the "digital barriers" that sometimes hinder learning and cause new distances difficult to perceive.
