Sessions on technological resources for social inclusion
The technological culture in which we are immersed opens up rich possibilities and opportunities for society at large, but it also runs the risk of creating new barriers to access: non-friendly electronic devices with very small letters, educational platforms not accessible to people with vision problems or other formatted text such as images, low-contrast electronic displays, etc. In order to raise awareness and training towards a culture of digital inclusion, a number of lectures and workshops delivered by experts in accessibility (web, electronic documents, inclusive educational platforms) will be shown as well as demos of products developed at the University of Alicante to make the integration of students in the university and society at large easier.
