The University of Alicante organizes the 1st Conference on Applied Nanotechnology

The University of Alicante will host the 1st Conference on Applied Nanotechnology on 22 and 23 November, a meeting held at the Auditorium of the 'Germán Bernácer' building , which aims to spread the application of nanotechnology in various industrial and scientific sectors.
The conference, organized by three research groups of the University of Alicante, in particular the Analysis of Polymers and Nanomaterials, Color Vision, and Polymers Processing and Pyrolysis, an attempt to bring students, researchers, professionals, technical managers and the public at large, the possibilities opened up by nanotechnology, its benefits and applications in everyday life.
The event will feature the participation of speakers from various institutions and companies that have excelled in their recent work to develop nanotechnology to their various applications in very different fields, such as new materials, construction, medicine or food .
On the other hand, a round table will be available to discuss issues that may be of interest to the attendees and encourage interaction among participants and speakers in a comfortable environment.
The content of this conference will be exposed in a disseminative way, with specific examples, intended to make nanotechnology accessible to society and the business sector. This highly innovative technology can be applied to many different sectors with huge implications for the society of Alicante, such as the food industry and the furniture, footwear and construction sectors.
