About 60 students debate about the tourist sector with enterpreneurs in the province

During the day today, tourism students of the University of Alicante and the Alicante Tourism Development Centre (CDT) will hold a debate and discussion with other professionals and entrepreneurs in the tourism sector.
The meeting, organized by the students themselves, has been attended by José Ramón Valero Escandell , Vice Dean of Tourism and Geography at the UA Faculty of Arts; Daniel Marco, Regional Secretary of Commerce and Tourism of the Valencian government, Antonio Carlos, director of the CDT in Alicante, and Agustín Grau, manager of the Alicante Tourism and Beaches Board.
During the various debates and lectures, "we will try to strengthen the idea of being provided with well- qualified staff and encourage our employability by showing our capabilities, the profile of graduates in Tourism and what we can bring to companies and institutions" the UA students state. To do this, they have analysed emerging sectors, the growth of health, culinary and wine tourism in the province, as well as innovation, new professionals and responsible tourism, among other things.
