Presentation at the University Venue of Alicante city of 'Clásicas y Modernas', the Association for gender equality in culture
"Clásicas y modernas" will participate in a roundtable on gender equality in culture and European experiences that will lead on to a discussion session on translation as an experience of knowledge

The City of Alicante and the Association "Clásicas y Modernas" have organized a roundtable on gender equality in culture and European experiences and a discussion forum on translation as an experience of knowledge for next Wednesday, 11 December.
The roundtable, scheduled at 7 pm, will start with the presentation of the Association “Clásicas y Modernas” by its chairwoman, Laura Freixas. This association aims to promote and protect gender-based equality in Culture. The presentation will include the participation of Carmen Frías, Margarita Borja and Nieves Simón, from the Alicante Feminist Platform Alicante, and Ana Noguera, philosopher and member of the Valencian Culture Council, who will act as the moderator.
The evening will continue with the discussion session ”Traducir, una experiencia de conocimiento”, at 8.15 pm, in which the philologist and translator Teresa Gómez, will go deeper into the translation of English-speaking women writers, along with poetess and playwright Margaret Borja, who will praise translation through her presentation “Elogio de la Traducción”." The discussion session will be presented and moderated by Josefina, philologist and director of the University Venue in Alicante city.
