The UA will host the 5th edition of iDay, for Online Marketing

The University of Alicante will host the 5th iDay, The Internet Day, an event on personal positioning in job search, Online Marketing, Social Media and the Internet in general applied to the labour market. It is aimed at all those who work, or want to work in the Internet world in general. This event, held every two months, brings together all kinds of experts in this art to make their knowledge and experience available to the attendees.
The use of social media for job search and self-employment is becoming increasingly important, especially when it comes to communicating and connecting with customers and employers. On this occasion, the iDay, will take place in the auditorium of the new Faculty of Education, on Friday, 13 December .
The meeting will split in two session. In the first one, which will run from 10 am to 1.30 pm, five experts in Social Media and Internet will participate: Hugo Gómez, Isabel Romero & Paula Guzmán, Andrés de España, Victor Campuzano and Carlos Fité. In the second session, the Xperience Christmas edition will be carried out for three hours, from 6 pm to 9 pm, in which five experts in Online Marketing will intervene: Luis M. Villanueva, Isidro Pérez, Paco Viudes, Alberto Plaza and Amel Fernández..
It will be organized in practical and intensive 20-minute talks aimed at expanding horizons, training and teaching, but essentially allowing the attendees to get professional contacts in an effective and dynamic way.
The inaugural event will be chaired over by the UA Vice President for Students, Nuria Grané and the Alicante City Councillor for Youth, Pablo Sandoval .
Attendance is free and requires pre-registration and the provision of at least 1 kilo of nonperishable food to help with the food collection campaign for Caritas’ Casa Véritas, a health programme for people with HIV-AIDS in advanced stage.
