The UA will present to companies in Alcoy some useful research lines for the industry in the area

On Friday, entrepreneurs and professionals from various industries in the area of Alcoy will participate in a meeting with scientists from the University of Alicante to promote the transfer of university research and its application to enterprises. In the course of this meeting, the research lines followed by the UA will be explained, which can be useful for the industry in the area.
This 2nd Meeting on Transfer and Innovation has been jointly organized by the town hall of Alcoy and the UA, and will be held at the Research Station Font Roja Natura and CEMA Font Roja (Alcoy) on 27th September, from 9.30 am.
The presentation of the meeting will be led by the mayor of Alcoy, Toni Francés, the Vice President for Research, Development and Innovation at the University of Alicante, Amparo Navarro, and Andreu Bonet, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Coordinator of the Research Station. Amparo Navarro will also report on the business taxes of R & D, and Víctor Pérez, deputy director of the UA Office for Research Results Transfer, will explain the mechanisms of technology transfer from universities to the business sector.
Also, six lecturers of the University of Alicante will describe some of the research lines they are following, which can be of interest to the companies in the area, ranging from "intelligent" business network solutions, or new food analysis methods to nanopigments for industrial applications or autonomous vehicles for warehouses. During the meeting, various panels will be presented by other research groups related to textile and food industries.
