The University of Alicante celebrates Saint Thomas Aquinas Day with the delivery of special awards for the best academic records
It will be attended by Felipe Palau and University of Padua President Giuseppe Zaccaria will participate

The University of Alicante will celebrate St. Thomas Aquinas Day, patron saint of universities, on Wednesday, 28 January. As traditionally, the ceremony will be held at the UA auditorium and this time, apart from UA President Manuel Palomar, the participation of University of Padua President Giuseppe Zaccaria, with whom a close relationship exists. Also, Secretary-General for Universities, Higher Education and Science, Felipe Ramírez Palau will attend the event.
During the event, 119 special awards will be delivered to top outstanding academic records both from doctoral and undergraduate degrees as well as one National Final-year project award.
The official reception of authorities will take place at the University Council & Administration building at 11:50 am. The event will begin at 12 midday and it will be broadcast online through this web page: http://si.ua.es/videostreaming/paraninfo.html
St. Thomas Aquinas Day celebration has been held at the University of Alicante since 1999.
