University of Alicante Research Technical Services accredited with quality award
The University president thanked the staff of the Scientific Instrumentation Area for achieving a new quality and environmental certification.

The University Alicante has been the first Spanish university to get an international certification in quality and the environment for conducting physical and chemical analyses. The certification stands for ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, achieved by the Scientific Instrumentation Area, assigned to the Research Technical Services.
In order to acknowledge the efforts of all staff members, University of Alicante Prsident Manuel Palomar visited the premises and participated in a ceremony along with the staff of the research services, Vice President for Research, Innovation and Development Amparo Navarro and Vice President for Studies Planning, Training Actions & Quality Standards Cecilia Gómez. The University president stated in his speech that this recognisition is a reflection of the university strategies in sustainable development and corporate social liability.
