The University of Alicante offers the places available in a total of 15 undergraduate degrees in 5 different faculties. After the pre-registration process, in which 91 percent of new-entry places has been allocated, students still have the opportunity to enroll in a wide range of studies at the UA.
The Faculty of Law offers places in two undergraduate degrees: Public Administration and Employment Relations & Human Resources; the Faculty of Economic Sciences still offers places in its undergraduate degree in Business Administration; the Faculty of Science in the undergraduate degree in Geology; and the Polytechnic School still has places available in four undergraduate degrees: Health Information Technology; Civil Engineering; Architectural Technology; and Principles of Architecture; finally, the Faculty of Arts offers some places in undergraduate degrees in Geography & Land Planning; History; Humanities; Tourism; Arab and Islamic Studies; French Studies and Catalan Studies.
Vice President for Students and Employment Nuria Grane noted that "after pre-registration and the completion of registration 91 percent of the places offered by the University of Alicante were filled; however there are still more places in some undergraduate degrees. Students can register for those places directly addressing the corresponding faculty".
Grané also noted that “places can be offered independently by each university and therefore, there is no fixed calendar for registration and waiting lists periods and deadlines can differ from one university to another”.
Should students get no place in this period, they can also apply for the undergraduate places that might be still available and will be published in September.
