Alicante. 18 October 2017
The University of Alicante has managed to place its Engineering and Technology studies among the best five hundred in the world, according to the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking for 2018. In particular, the discipline of Engineering & Technology ranks UA between 401 and 500 positions worldwide.
It is the first time that the University of Alicante manages to appear in the THE ranking of this discipline and "it does it brilliantly, especially considering the restrictions suffered in recent years and the fact that we are not a technical-oriented university,” as stated by Vice President for Quality Assurance and Educational Innovation Francisco Torres.
The studies that now stand out in the THE ranking, which are taught at the University of Alicante Polytechnic School have also recently obtained the international quality seals EUR-ACE and EURO-INF, awarded by the professional colleges of engineers and computer scientists, respectively.
