Alicante. Tuesday 27 September 2017
The University of Alicante Student Council commemorates the 30th anniversary from its creation. With the aim of recognising the work of both present and past members of the Council, a commemorative event has been organised that will take place on Thursday, 28 September in the UA Museum El Cub exhibition hall, at 7 pm. Organised by the Office of the Vice President for Students and Employment and the current Student Council, the gala will be attended by University President Manuel Palomar and by both former UA presidents and their vice presidents for Students, as well as by the previous student councils' chairpersons.
Nearly 400 people have confirmed attendance at this event in which distinctions will be given to the several chairpersons that have presided over the Council over these 30 years. The event is part of the Alumni Project, an institutional meeting point for the University of Alicante graduates. For this reason, the UA President will give a recognition to Banco Santander Universidades for its special contribution to this project.
The event will end with a performance of the theatre group from Alicante, Improvivencia, as well as the music group CaféRock, made up of former UA students.
