The University of Alicante designs a gradual back-to-work strategy of staff members
The academic institution will maintain teleworking whenever possible and will allow on-site attendance of one person per unit if necessary
The process will be carried out in accordance with the Instructions on Labour Risk Prevention- IPRL-26 which includes a set of regional and national regulations due to the COVID-19 and establishes a transition plan towards a new normality approved by the Council of Ministers on 28 April
Alicante, Friday 8 May 2020
The University of Alicante is preparing a gradual return to the on-site activity for which a decision has been issued to include and define organisational and complementary actions to the Instruction on the Instructions for Labour Risk Prevention, IPRL-26, for gradual return to work at the university facilities, which will necessarily be flexible and dynamic, adapting to the updates of the different applicable regulatory provisions. The above-mentioned instruction has involved the participation of the Safety and Health Committee and the approval of the UA Governing Board.
In this sense, the University will maintain online work at those units where this is possible and, as of the 11th, at those offices where attendance is necessary, a person will be incorporated, who may be a different one each day with a schedule from 9 am to 2 pm.
This decision does not include on-site attendance in this phase and enquiries from the public will be done electronically or by telephone. From phase 2 a system of prior appointment will be established to resume this activity.
