University of Alicante covers 93.3% of the new entry places after pre-registration
Nursing is the most sought-after undergraduate degree and the dual undergraduate degree in International Relations and Law has the highest cut-off mark

The University of Alicante has allocated 99.3% of the 5,750 places for newcomers for the next academic year 2021/2022. This year the waiting lists show that the most demanded undergraduate degrees are Nursing, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, Primary Education and Early Childhood Education, as well Criminology in the on-site mode.
The University of Alicante undergraduate degree in Nursing is once again the degree with the longest waiting list, with a total of 3,013 applicants in the general quota. The degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, with 1,341 students on the waiting list, is in second place. The degrees in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education, with 1,341 and 1,078 applications respectively, are in the third and fourth positions. Finally, the on-site mode of the degree in Criminology is in fifth position with the largest waiting list with a total of 820 applicants.
As for the highest cut-off marks, the dual degree in International Relations and Law continues to be in the first place, with a cut-off mark of 13,069 and a waiting list of 140 students. The next two positions are held by the undergraduate degrees in Physics and in Mathematics, with a cut-off mark of 12.9 and 12.689, respectively. In fourth and fifth position are the undergraduate degrees in English Translation and Interpreting and Biomedical Engineering with cut-off marks of 12.642 and 12.527. Finally, the highest cut-off mark goes for the undergraduate degree in Nursing, with 12.47.
Once the pre-enrolment results have been published, a period for complaints will be opened, which will take place on 19, 20 and 21 July until 2pm. The decision on complaints will be published on 23 July.
Students who have been admitted to the UA will be sent an SMS to their mobile phones and an email where they will receive instructions and an appointment to enrol between 20 and 22 July 2021 (until 1 pm).
The distribution of enrolment appointments for students who start their undergraduate studies will be made according to their admission qualification. From the time and day of the assigned appointment, students can fill out the self-enrolment application form until 1 on 22 July. Failure to complete enrolment will result in the loss of the right to a place.
On 23 July 2021, the vacancies available at that time will be published and those admitted must enrol on the same day. Otherwise, it will be understood that they have given up their place
