The University of Alicante's Philharmonic Orchestra premiers at ADDA with a charity concert in aid of the Lorca disaster

The University of Alicante's Philharmonic Orchestra begins its summer session with a charity concert in aid of Lorca, whose funds will go to the victims of the earthquake which devastated this town of Murcia last month. The concert will take place on 29th June, at 8 pm, at the Alicante County Council Auditorium.
To organize the benefit concert, the University of Alicante will have the collaboration of the Alicante County Council. Tickets can be purchased from 3 June through Servicam and Compass Bookstore at the Campus of San Vicente at a price of €10. Tickets not purchased in advance will go on sale the same day of the concert, an hour before the performance. For those unable to attend the concert but wish to help financially will be offered tickets for "Row 0".
Again, the OFUA will participate in Erzhan Kulibaev, virtuoso violinist of the School of Music Reina Sofía, who plays the violin solos with a Stradivarius 1722 "Rode", released by the Maggini Foundation. Kulibaev account in your resume with several major international awards for violin.
The tandem OFUA-Kulivaev, under the conduction of Mihnea Ignat, started in the spring season and will continue in the next meeting of the university orchestra in the Auditorium of Cox, which will take place on 1st July. In both shows, a two-part programme has been chosen, starting with the Concerto for violin and orchestra op. 35 in D Major, P. I. Tchaikovsky. In the second part, the "Eighth Symphony in G Major op. 88, from Czech composer A. Dvorak which, as noted by Ignat "it is a masterpiece full of melodies and rhythms of Eastern Europe in the list of the most popular of all music history."
The end of season
The season ends OFUA summer and academic year with the opening concert of the Summer Courses Villena Headquarters, which will be held on 8th July at the Chapí Theatre.
On this occasion, the OFUA will have the assistance of other virtuous student from the School of Music Reina Sofía in Madrid, who was also the winner of this year's Young Performers Competition Ruperto Chapi of Villena . Also the Russian violinist, Albert Skuratov, will perform solos of op. 35 in D Major, P. I. Tchaikovsky for violin and orchestra.
Villena is, as stated by OFUA conductor, "one of our most memorable scenes." This is the third time our orchestra offers a concert in the town.
