2011-2012 academic year comes to an end at the Permanent University

The closing ceremony will be held on Friday, 15th June, and chaired by Manuel Palomar, the University of Alicante’s President.
On Friday, 15th June, at 6.30 am, the closing ceremony of the academic year 2011-2012 of the Permanent University will take place at the Graduate Hall *Alfredo Orts*, located at the University of Alicante’s Optics Building. On this occasion, we will be pleased with the participation of Professor of Constitutional Law at the UA, Manuel Francisco Alcaráz, with his lecture on Constitution and Rights in Times of Crisis.
During the ceremony, chaired by the the University President, Manuel Palomar, 60 students who have completed their senior study programmes will receive their diplomas
Also, a video will be screened to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the UPUA and we will have Concepción Bru, Director of Permanent University, M. Luisa Mataix, Chairwoman of the Alumni & Students Association and Josefina Bueno, former Vice President for the UA Extracurricular Activities.
From this week, on 13, 14, 15, 18 and 19 June, applications can be submitted to (the) UPUA Secretary’s Office, at the Campus. Office hours are from 9 am to 2 pm every morning, and from 4 pm to 6 pm on 13th and 14th June.
The UPUA offers for the next academic year a total of 131 subjects grouped around five areas of knowledge: Humanities, Information Technology-Image-Sound, Experimental Sciences, Social Sciences and Law, Health and Social Supportive Actions), from which, and given the interest shown by prospective students in the enrollment process, the programme will be defined the next academic year 2012-2013.
