The University of Alicante delivers its Impulso Awards tomorrow for the best ideas and technology-based projects

The University of Alicante will announce tomorrow the names of the winners of the Impulso Awards in its second edition, which recognizes the best ideas and technology-based projects developed by members of the university community.
The award ceremony will take place at 12 noon, at the Germán BernácerBuilding's Auditorium and will be chaired by the UA President, Ignacio Jimenez Raneda. The awards are an initiative of the Alicante Science Park, attached to the Office of the Vice President for Research, Development and Innovation, led by Manuel Palomar.
The Impulso Awards recognize entrepreneurship in science and technology and also recognize the innovative business ideas and projects arising from research activities of the University of Alicante. These awards were born last year to reward research groups noted for their efforts to boost the processing capacity of university research with scientific and technological entrepreneurship.
Tomorrow, the jury will announce the names of the winners in two categories: "IDEAS", with 12 papers submitted, and "Project-Based Technology Company", with 8 projects submitted.

- Carlos Castillo Marquez, Alicante City Councillor for Employment
- Ivan Sempere Massa, Chairman of Fundeun
- Rosana Perán Bazán, Chairwoman of the Valencian Business Association of Footwear
-Ana Echeveste Telleria, Director of the UA Service for Research and Technology Transfer Management.
