DONATO NDONGO BIDYOGO (Niefang, Equatorial Guinea, 1950). Journalist, historian, poet and novelist. He was director of the Center for African Studies of the University of Murcia and visiting professor at the University of Missouri-Columbia (2005-2008). He is considered the founder of the Equatorial Guinean literature with the publication of anthologies of the year 1984 (Antología de la literatura guineana) and 2000 (Literatura de Guinea Ecuatorial. Antología). In addition to his novels, has also published articles in trade press, history books, and so on. It has an unpublished poems (Olvidos, s.d.), and has collaborated in collective works such as El África que viene (1998) i Planeta Kurtz (2002). Some of his works have been translated into English, French and Italian.
