Model-Driven Engineering for Enterprise Applications


Description

With an experience of almost 20 years, the investigation in the development directed by models has been linked with the improvement of the productivity and mantenibilidad in the development of web applications and business.

Fruit of these investigations have developed proposals beside the tools that have given them support.

  • OOH  - Methodology that allows the obtaining of traditional web applications.  Tool: VisualWade.
  • OOH4RIA  - Methodology that defines a group of models and transformations to obtain rich applications for internet (RIA). Tool OIDE.
  • SmRIA - Methodology MDE for the definition of web applications Semanticas for RIA.

 

Current Research Lines:

  • Study for the definition and communication of the microservices.
  • Introduction of Test Driven Development in a process MDE.
  • Study of the influence of the human factor in the technicians MDE.

 

OOH4RIA 

Methodology MDE that allows the obtaining business applications by means of the definition of three functional models:

  • Domain Model defines by means of a graphic notation based in UML or textual notation, the business logic and a persistence of an enterprise application.
  • Service Model or navigation that defines the group of services and data that are published by a façade of services already was SOA or REST.
  • Presentation Model defines the structural representation of the interface of user by means of a group of screenshots and widgets, and besides, includes a model of orchestration that by means of a group of rules ECA allows to establish the dynamic part of the interface.
