Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence

 

  • What are they?

Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence provide the University Community and the civil society with an open forum for the discussion and the analysis of Europe-related matters.

  • What is their purpose?

Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence main aim is to contribute to a better scientific knowledge of the contemporary processes of integration and unification in Europe.  With a interdisciplinary perspective, they offer courses and roundtable debates and facilitate access to information. Among their more specific objectives, there can be found:

  1. Scientific visibility;
  2. A stimulus for debate;
  3. The access to the resources available;
  4. Research;
  5. Dissemination; and
  6. Teaching.
