Mayor's Office:
Preparation of the documentation for possible declaration of Cape of Santa Pola as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In this regard, some meetings have been held with the Direction-General for Heritage (Department of Education & Culture) and the Delegación Territorial de la Conselleria de Medi Ambient, Aigua, Territori y Habitatge (declaración de Monumento Natural).
Assignment of rights to use learning material of 'Hispanidad' school for its use in the practical sessions at CIMAR .
Delivery of a mock-up lateen sailing boat to the University of Alicante (typical fishing boat from Santa Pola in early 20th C.) Such a mock-up becomes one of the emblems of the University of Alicante's research stations and it is displayed in the hall of UA Administration and Council building.

Collaboration in the application for a 'Blue Flag' for the beaches of Santa Pola. Submission of the application for renewing the 'Blue Centre' Award for CIMAR.
