Editing process

Norms of edition

1. In the texts will value especially the capacity of synthesis in the exhibition and argumentation. They will come accompanied of a summary in the own tongue of the work and of another in English. The summaries will have a maximum extension of 200 words. Also they will appear five keywords in his corresponding languages.

2. It is necessary to deliver the originals in computer support, written with the processor of text Word or OpenOffice.

3. The maximum extension of the works is of 7000 included words notes on foot and bibliography (around 15 pages), and  a maximum of 10 illustrations (drawings, photographies, planes, maps, tables, charts). The images will deliver digitalizadas in format TIFF or JPG (minimum resolution of 300 pixels) and each one of them with his graphic scale. 

4. It will accompany a document separate with the feet of figures. If these are taken of other publications, will quote the source. All the illustrations, included charts and tables, will number of correlated form like figures and his reference will quote inside the text (ej. Fig. 1).

5.  The title will go in Times New Roman, size 14, capital, boldface and centred, under him, with a space of separation will appear the name of the author (in tiny, size 12, without boldface and centred).

6. Numbering of epígrafes. The text has to carry sufficient epígrafes to structure his content in the different parts. The epígrafes jerarquizarán following the following order: 1°) Numbering arábiga, capital and boldface [1. CAPITAL LETTERS and BOLDFACE]; 2°) Numbering arábiga, tiny and boldface [1.1. Tiny and boldface]; 3°) Numbering arábiga, tiny and cursiva [1.1.1. Tiny and cursivas]. It will not ADMIT ANOTHER TYPE.

7. Notes on foot of page.  They will have to reduce to the indispensable and have the mission to clear something that does not remain sufficiently explicitado in the text; they do not have to use for bibliographic appointments. They will go situated on foot of page and numbered correlatively in numbers arábigos.

8. The bibliographic appointments will do of the following way: it will put the name of the author in tiny letter, followed of the year of edition of the work, page or pages and figure or figures. These appointments will appear in the interior of the text of the article and will not go on foot of page neither at the end.

To - it enters the appointment resumida between bracket with the surname(s) of the author, gone on down the year of publication.

b - When besides the appointment is literal, includes the number of page or specific location of the sentence/s in the original text.

Examples:

- …This treatment appears in the Fields of Urns of the Iron (s. VI-V B.C.) Of the Coastal Group Catalan (Ruiz Zapatero, 1985: 739-740).

- In spite of this, does some years Sanz Gamo (1997: 85) it called the attention on the place…

c - With regard to the appointment in the text of a work with two authors: always they quote to both authors every time that the reference occurs in the text joined by “and” or “&”. When they quote more than two authors for a work, see in the section of references.

9. The bibliographic list will come at the end of the article, had in alphabetical order of the first surname of the authors. In case that a same author have several works, the ordination will do by the date of publication, of the most ancient to the most modern. If in the same year coincide two works of a same author, will distinguish with tiny letters (a, b, c, etc.), that also will include in the references  mentioned in the section 8. The bibliography will respect the following structure:

To- Book: Surname(s), Initial of the name(s). (Year of publication). Title of the book. Place of publication: Publisher.

Example: Sanz Gamo, R. (1997). Iberian culture and romanización in earths of Albacete: the centuries of transition in Albacete. Albacete: Instituto de Estudios Albacetenses.

        b- Chapter of book: Surname(s), Initial of the name(s). (Year). Title of the chapter, entrance or contribution. In Initial of the name(s). Surname(s) of the editor(is) or coordinator(is) or... (Charge abbreviated), Title of the book (pp. xx-xx). Place of publication: Publisher.

Example: Delgado Hervás, A. (2011). The production of Phoenician ceramics in the extreme occident: ovens of alfar, workshops and domestic industries in the colonial enclaves of the Mediterranean Andalucia (8th-6th centuries B.C.). In B. Costas Ribas and J. H. Fernández Gómez (Eds.), YÕSERIM: the production alfarera Phoenician-púnica in Occident. XXV Days of Phoenician Archaeology-púnica (Ibiza, 2010) (pp.165-221). Ibiza: Museu Arqueològic d'Ibiza i Formentera.

        c- Article of a magazine: Surname(s), Initial of the name(s). (Year). Title of the article. Title of the publication, volume (number), xx-xx.

Example: Pérez Ballester, J. (2014). Between the Final Bronze and the Ancient Iron. The ceramics manually of the Adret of the Castell (Xàtiva, València). Lucentum, XXXIII, 23-39.

In the case that the titles of the magazines avenge abbreviated, will have to use the system of acronyms of the magazines.

d- Publications in Internet and web pages
