Design of effective educational practices in the current context
Objectives and main topics:
The development of the teaching practice in our current context makes the university as a whole commit to respond and implement new strategies in order to improve teaching processes by optimizing the use of the available resources. Teaching research and innovation, both implemented in a collaborative way, are deemed to be essential tools to introduce the new Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. In this respect, the revision and improvement of teaching methodologies and the evaluation of learning processes deserve more attention to guarantee quality teaching.
Teaching guides as basic tools for teaching planning represent the commitment of teaching staff teams to their students. They also make the new programmes and further essential information more transparent so that they can be followed and approved.
With the purpose of improving teaching quality and creating a new frame of reference that gives support to the university when planning and designing new learning and teaching processes, the University of Alicante opens a new space for students and teaching staff in order to spread its strategies and research findings in the positive impact of methodologies and resources.
