UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION IN THE VALENCIAN PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES FOR STUDENTS WITH FOREIGN QUALIFICATIONS (this procedure DOES NOT apply to students from EU countries and the People's Republic of China. →)
For official undergraduate degrees, students with foreing qualifications must meet the admssion requirements for Spanish-universities and apply for a place through the pre-registraion systems (official system for assigning universty places in public universities).
Admission academic requirements.

2. Students with partial university studies abroad to continue university studies in Spain (Partial validation of foreing qualifications).
Must submit application directly to the faculty involved with the organisation of the relevant undergraduate degree within the period established (usually form march 15th to may 15th). An administration fee o €143.73 must be paid.
Prove that foreign qualifications are official and of university level.
Obtain recognition (validation) for subjects taken abroad of at least 30 credits (approx. 5 subjects) corresponding to the contents of the degree to which you want to access.
3. Students with official university qualifications obtained in foreing universities (Ministry of Education)
Official approval can only be requested when you hold an official foreign university degree and you want it to be recognised as an entry qualification that gives access to Spanish university degrees leading to the exercise of regulated professions (see Annex I of Royal Decree). In this case you may consider passing some "complementary training requirements" (exams, completion of supervised courses, preparation of academic papers) prior to the decision of official approval.
Equivalence of academic level means the official recognition of foreign qualifications as equivalent to undergraduate/Master’s degrees, as well as fields of study and science in which the Spanish university studies are structured.
International students who have obtained official approval of the Spanish upper secondary qualifications and wish to improve their admission marks to take Spanish university studies, may sit a set of examinations for the relevant subjects through the Specific competencye exams (PCE) organised by the Spanish Distance Education University (UNED).
Students may sit exams for a maximum of 4 of the subjects listed.
For each subject passed, they will be able to improve their admission score by up to 1 point.
Maximum UNED admission score point will be 10 points.
For admission to the University of Alicante and all the public universities in the Valencia region. The two best marks obtained in PCE exams will be weighted (maximum admissions point score 14 points).

By means of the pre-registration system, a student can apply for places in university degrees that are taught at public universities in the same region, in order of preference, by using a single form with same deadline.
