The most important call for applications is the General and mobility grants for university students granted by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. Students can apply for these grants to study official undergraduate and master's degrees.
Both students with full-time and part-time registration can apply for a grant. Official master's and undergraduate degrees are included.
Applications for these grants must be done on-line through the grants website of the Ministry of Education. Generally, the deadline is mid-October (check the terms for each call).
Grants are awarded according to the students' academic performance and their family's income level.
All grantees will be exempt from paying registration fees, and they might also be awarded other allowances:
