AXIS 1 VISIBILIZATION AND SENSIBILIZATIÓN

Aim1. Develop the RSC of the UA in matter of equality of gender, by means of the organisation of own activities and the collaboration in the initiatives that -with this aim- organise by other institutions and social entities.

1. Modify the Regulation of symbols, distinctions honoríficas and credenciales of the UApara that promote the parity between women and men in the proposals of nominations honoris cause, between the profesorado that gives inaugural lessons and, in general, between the people on which recaen distinctions and honours.

 

In July of 2006 published in the BOUA the approval of the current Regulation of symbols, distinctions honoríficas and credenciales of the UA. It produced a modification of the same in 2009 (BOUA 17/09/2009) but to date has not suffered more modifications.

2. Organise institutional campaigns of sensitisation around the celebration of the days 8 March (2014, 2015, 2016) and on 25 November (international Day by the elimination of the violence against the women).

3. Effect campaigns of sensitisation on specific appearances of the inequalities of gender between women and men.

4. Develop programs and activities that contribute to the achievement of the equality of gender and to the sensitisation in questions of gender in the university Headquarters of the UA. (Web)

5. Include in the stable cultural programming of the UA activities, performances, programs, workshops of culture%u2026, that contribute to the achievement of the equality of gender and to the sensitisation in front of the discrimination by reason of gender. (Web)

6. Include in the programming of the Museum of the University of Alicante (MUA) and in all the spaces expositivos of the UA, samples that contribute to the sensitisation and to the achievement of the equality of gender.

7. Include the perspective of gender in the formative program of the volunteering of the UA.
From the course 2015-2016 included the perspective of gender in the training of the volunteering culture and linguistic, in the Volunteering of the Centre of Support to the Student and in the Volunteering against the Violence of Gender.



Aim 2. Sensitise to the university community on the absence of effective equality between women and men, the persistence of the sexismo in the society and the need to contribute to the identification and the rejection of all the forms of violence of gender

8. Diffusion between the university community of the II Inform diagnostic of the situation of women and men in the UA (2013) and of the Report of Impact of the implementation of the I PIUA.

 

   

9. Give diffusion between the university community of the Report of Evaluation of the conciliation, corresponsabilidad and professional promotion in the University of Alicante.

   

10. Give diffusion between the university community of the II Plan of Equality of Opportunities between Women and Men of the UA (2014-2016).

   

11. Realise, at least, a specific study that contribute to advance in the knowledge of the inequalities of gender in the UA.

12. Create the Observatory of Equality of Gender of the UA.

   

13. Establish a procedure for the preparation of reports of impact of gender, previous to the approval of the normative disposals.

14. Promote the use inclusivo and no sexista of the language in all the internal and external communications of the UA, %u2014so much in the language written as in the iconic and visual%u2014 including a criterion in this sense for the perception of the complement of productivity of PAS.

15. Guarantee the use of a language inclusivo and no sexista in the normative disposals.

16. Elaborate a document of fast query from the Guide of use of language no sexista in the University of Alicante and give him diffusion between the university community.

The first guide was elaborated in fulfillment of the Action 10 of the Axis 1 of the "I Plan of Equality of Opportunities between Women and Men of the University of Alicante (2010-2012)"

The second guia will publish in the collection "Aim by the Equality" of 2017



Aim 3. Sensitise to the university community, %u2014with special emphasis on the community of students%u2014 about the existence of stereotypes of gender linked to the professional sphere, and to the personal and familiar life, with the end to contribute to the construction of a society where women and men share, in equality of conditions and with the same opportunities, all the fields of the public and private life

17. Realise specific campaigns of sensitisation directed to the alumnado of secondary, oriented to combat stereotypes of gender in the election of university studies.

18. Design a material of promotion of the degrees that do not transmit an image and a language sexista

 

  • Promotional video of the titles of degrees in the UA.

  • Promotional campaign of the degrees and másteres of the UA (2016-2017)

19. Design programs of training, headed to orientadoras and orientadores of secondary education, on perspective of gender and resources to combat stereotypes in the election of university studies.

 

It will publish in the next collection of Aim by the Equality of 2017

20. Creation of the volunteering for the equality in the community of students.

 

 

21. Organise activities headed to the egresadas of the UA with the end to facilitate his access to the labour market and promote the creation of networks and the asociacionismo.
