Do you want to design your own objects and print them? Has one of your pieces got broken and you wish to make it on your own? Would you like to design a customised decorative object for yourself? Are you willing to help us design objects that can prove helpful for people with functional diversity?
The purpose of this subject is to provide the tools that can solve all these problems; with that aim, we will learn to design in 3D with simple free-access software programs, so that we can use them from any computer. We will learn how a 3D printer functions and how works are printed in them; sorting out all the difficulties which may arise throughout the process so that our designs can be printed with the highest quality. We will study the different materials available for printing: rigid, elastic... And we will learn all of this through practice. We will all additionally work together to achieve a useful design thanks to which we can help someone, some child or grown-up with any type of functional diversity, thus managing to make their life easier through our joint efforts.
