It is an international course in which the most important theoretical-practical aspects are addressed in relation to the physiology, psychology, nutrition, biomechanics, injury prevention, etc., of the pediatric exercise. From the theoretical point of view, the bases for developing the correct prescription of physical exercise during the pediatric stage will be presented.

KNOWLEDGE THAT WILL BE EXPOSED

- Know the importance of pediatric physical exercise as a basis for health and primary prevention
- Physiological bases to understand the acute responses and adpatations generated by physical exercise in the pediatric population
- Physiological, psychological, biomechanical and nutritional bases to know how to reduce the risk of injury and overtraining in the child who practices physical exercise
- Physiopathological bases for the correct adaptation of physical exercise prescription in the pediatric population affected by the most frequent pathologies during this biological moment
- Bases for the correct physical fitness assessment in the pediatric population
- Bases for the correct design and prescription of physical exercise in pediatric population
