Convened by the Ministry of economy and competitiveness, whose purpose is to encourage the development of technological innovation and the use of design as innovative element through recognition of those individuals and entities who have distinguished themselves by their contribution to those target.

For this edition 2012 referred to four categories:
· National Award for the innovative trajectory.
· National Award for internationalization.
· National Award for design for the category of professionals.
· National Award for design for the category of companies.
The Príncipe de Girona Foundation (FPdGi) has opened the nomination period for the fourth edition of the FPdGi Awards 2013. People and organisations interested in participating in this new edition of the FPdGi Awards 2013 can submit their candidatures up to 28th January 2013.

The Valencian Parliament's Bureau, wishing to keep on promoting the studies on parliamentary law as well as all those related to the activities and works of the Valencian Parliament, has again summoned a contest for the publication of a research work or thesis completed or defended during the year 2012.

From the Vice President for research development and innovation of the University of Alicante have organized the day: "EEN-SEIMED: La greater network global transfer of technology to your service"to be held on December 17 to the 10.00 in the Auditorium of the higher I Polytechnic School of the University of Alicante.
The purpose of this day is to inform our universities researchers new tools EEN-SEIMED puts at your disposal to internationalise research, either; forming part of European r & d projects, spreading their technological offerings internationally or to inform them about technological demands of companies belonging to 52 countries currently integrated into this network.
EEN-SEIMED is a project funded by the European Commission, of which the University of Alicante is part since its inception in 1995. With the next two-year period, already approved by the Commission, this network will reach 20 years of existence.
