The purpose of this call is to regulate 2019th concession procedure, under the principle of publicity, objectivity and competitive competition, of the different types of financial aids that include the program of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer aimed at promoting scientific research, technological development and innovation at the University of Alicante.
This program includes six lines of action:
1. Incorporation and training of research and technical personnel.
2. Competitive research.
4. Scientific-technological infrastructures.
5. Dissemination of research.
6. Actions of public-private collaboration regarding transfer of knowledge.
The State Agency of Investigation (AEI) has published for the first time a calendar with the dates of opening and resolution of calls for 2019 and 2020 of the current State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2017-2020.

Beer and Health information Center, an entity of a scientific nature dedicated to the research on the moderate consumption of beer and its nutritional qualities, announces the 20th edition of the Manuel de la Oya "Beer, Health and Nutrition" Research Grants, to conduct an experimental study on moderate beer consumption.
The purpose of these grants is to support young researchers and promote the study of this drink, under the direction of universities and Spanish Research centres. The amount of each grant is 18.000€ .
The call for applications starts the 1st April and the deadline will be the 11th October 2019.
The University of Alicante has joined the agreement on Openness on Animal Research, promoted by the Federation of Scientific Societies in Spain (COSCE), with the collaboration of the European Association of Research Animals (EARA), and launched the 20th September 2016.
